Terms and Conditions | BonFeet Footcare - Important Information
Article 1 - Definitions
- BonFeet Footcare: The pedicure practice located in Amsterdam, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 95810773.
- Client: The individual using the services of BonFeet Footcare.
- Services: All treatments and advice offered by BonFeet Footcare, such as medical pedicures, preventive foot care, etc.
Article 2 - Applicability
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by BonFeet Footcare.2.2 By making an appointment, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
2.3 Deviations from these terms are only binding if agreed upon in writing.
Article 3 - Appointments and Treatments
3.1 Treatments are conducted by appointment only.
3.2 BonFeet Footcare will perform treatments to the best of its ability and with the care expected from a skilled pedicure professional.
3.3 Clients must cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in costs being charged to the client.
3.4 Clients are expected to arrive on time for their appointment. If the client is late, the treatment time will be reduced by the amount of time the client is late. If the client is 15 minutes or more late, the appointment cannot be guaranteed, and the full treatment fee will still apply.
3.5 BonFeet Footcare strives to start appointments at the scheduled time. However, unforeseen circumstances, such as emergencies or complex treatments, may cause delays. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience. If a delay occurs, we will inform you as soon as possible.
3.6 BonFeet Footcare reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatments if the client:
- Displays inappropriate behavior or misconduct.
- Repeatedly fails to attend appointments or cancels too late.
- Neglects personal hygiene, making treatment unfeasible.
Article 4 - Client Responsibilities
4.1 The client is required to provide complete and accurate medical information relevant to the treatment.
4.2 BonFeet Footcare is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
4.3 Clients must maintain good personal hygiene and are requested to wash their feet and remove any nail polish prior to treatment.
Article 5 - Liability
5.1 BonFeet Footcare is only liable for damages directly caused by intent or gross negligence.
5.2 BonFeet Footcare is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, or loss of income.
Article 6 - Payment
6.1 Payment must be made immediately after the treatment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.2 In the event of late payment, the client will be in default, and BonFeet Footcare may charge interest and collection fees.
Article 7 - Complaints Procedure
7.1 BonFeet Footcare aims to provide optimal service. If the client has a complaint, it must be submitted in writing as soon as possible, but no later than 7 days after the treatment. BonFeet Footcare will work with the client to find a solution.
7.2 BonFeet Footcare is affiliated with ProVoet, the professional organization for pedicures.
7.3 If the complaints procedure in Article 7.1 does not lead to a resolution, the client can contact the independent complaints officer via ProVoet. More information is available on ProVoet's website.
7.4 If the complaint remains unresolved, the client can refer the dispute to the Disputes Committee for Personal Care, with which BonFeet Footcare is affiliated.
Article 8 - Privacy
8.1 BonFeet Footcare processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
8.2 Personal data will only be used for the execution of the agreement and will not be shared with third parties without the client’s consent.
Article 9 - Hygiene and Safety
9.1 BonFeet Footcare follows the guidelines outlined in the Practice Manual for Pedicures and Medical Pedicures, as established by ProVoet.
9.2 Both the client and the practitioner must adhere to hygiene protocols to ensure safety and health.
Article 10 - Amendments to Terms and Conditions
10.1 BonFeet Footcare reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
10.2 Amendments will take effect on the announced date and will be communicated to the client in advance.
Article 11 - Applicable Law
11.1 All legal relationships with BonFeet Footcare are governed by Dutch law.
11.2 Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where BonFeet Footcare is located.
These terms and conditions have been drawn up in accordance with the guidelines of ProVoet and applicable laws and regulations.
